Returns & Refunds Policy

At Foxborough Furniture, we take great pride in the quality and heritage of our pieces. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. As a UK-based business, our policy is designed to be transparent and compliant with the Consumer Contracts Regulations.

1. Your Right to Cancel

For items purchased online or over the phone, you have a statutory right to change your mind.

  • Notification Period: you must notify us via email or phone within 14 days of receiving your item that you wish to return it.

  • Return Window: Once you have notified us, you have a further 14 days to return the item to our workshop in Woodnesborough, Kent.

2. Condition of Returns

To be eligible for a full refund, the following conditions must be met:

  • The item must be returned in the exact condition in which it was received.

  • Any signs of new wear, damage, or alterations made after delivery will result in a deduction from the refund to cover the loss in value (up to 100% of the price).

  • We recommend using a specialist furniture courier for returns, as the item remains your responsibility until it reaches our workshop.

3. Our Commitment to Solutions

We understand that antique furniture is unique. Before a return is finalised:

  • We will work closely with you to find a solution, whether that involves a repair, an adjustment, or an exchange for another piece from our collection.

  • Our goal is to ensure that every piece of 20th-century French design or restored antique finds its perfect home.

4. Exemptions

Please note that bespoke restoration commissions or items altered specifically at your request are generally exempt from the right to return unless they are faulty.

5. Refunds

Once we have received and inspected the item, we will process your refund within 14 days. The refund will be made to the original payment method. Please note that original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the item is faulty.
